Happy Thursday~
This post is sort of random, but I just love my daughter's adorable chalk art. Why you ask??? I just makes me Smile:)
So I thought I would share with you all.
For all of you who have seen pics of my daughter, you know she has dark brown hair and brown eyes.
Maybe the chalk should start coming with brown as an option for the non-blonds of the world.
Or maybe she just WANTS to be a blond. Again I have to Smile
Here is the bottom portion of the drawing. One leg isnt done...maybe it never will be. She had fun and I had fun watching her draw so proudly with chalk all over her body, laying on the dirty driveway. The innocence and free spirit of children is priceless.
What made you smile today??????

ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend, Mary Alice
I love kids and chalk...we always had something in the driveway...then it progressed to my son drawing an outline around my daughter in the street, so he could jump it on his bike. :-) My daughter has a fine arts degree, and I loved the high school years when they actually did sidewalk art with chalk - Happy Friday, Cheryl!

ReplyDeleteThat is such a sweet drawing. My girls used to make their chalk paintings on our patio. It goes by so fast, its great that you photographed her art, you'll have a precious keepsake of this magical time of life.
ReplyDeleteThere is something compelling about a child's drawing, especially one done just because she wanted to for the sheer joy of the experience.
